Apartment rents decline 1.8% in
Tokyo: At Home
According to Japanese real estate information provider, At Home, average rents for apartments in greater Tokyo increased 0.8 per cent from the preceding year, to Y2,490 (approx. US$22) per sq m in January. The supply of residential apartments for lease jumped 8.6 per cent during the period to 44,293 units, while commercial apartments rose 5.7 per cent to 6,505 units.
